Nursery Ideas for Baby Boys!

So I'm half way through my pregnancy, I know the gender of my baby (Boy), and now all I want to do is get his room ready! I do so much research in what I want his room to look like, and I find so many cute ideas it becomes overwhelming sometimes!

I have a vision in my head of what I want his room to look like, and researching did help A LOT!

Here are some cute ideas I found:

A "Sports" theme is a really good idea for a little boys room, especially because you can play around with all types of sports, like in the pictures, or just sticking to one. I thought that top nursery picture was adorable. Click here

This is probably one of my favorite themes because you can't ever go wrong with color. I you're not too good at picking them, the just stick with traditional boy:Blue girl:pink, but if you're feeling creative you can go way beyond that and try new colors out. I really like a soft grey on the wall, and then add pop of colors with the decorations.

I love this idea because even with a white plain wall, you can make your baby's room super cute with wall decor. You can be creative with anything such as quotes, pictures, the letter of their name, colors, shapes, etc. All those little details will not only serve as decoration, but it will also stimulate your baby's brain! :)

I'm waiting to move to start putting Liams room together, but I will definitely keep you posted on how it will look like. :)

Pregnancy Diary- 20 Weeks

I can't believe how fast the days are going, and the huge changes happening to my body.

I could say that starting at the 17th week, that's where I started to feel the most comfortable and "back to normal" as far as symptoms go. 20 Weeks was a breeze. No major discomforts, and I'm just enjoying my growing baby bump. I have a major appetite, which I love because first trimester I didn't even want to think about food. Speaking of food, I think it's very safe to say that I'm not over eating just because I have a little human inside of me. Obviously I eat enough for both of us, but I don't use the famous excuse of "I have to eat for 2". I've gained 6 pounds in total so far, which I think it's pretty good, and healthy. (I'm sure if it wasn't, but Doctor would've told me.)

As far as movements go, I started to feel very subtle flutters from Liam at around 18 weeks. So subtle that I would question if that was him or not. At 20 weeks though, I know for sure it's my little man moving. With each passing day, the movements become a little stronger, and now there is no doubt in my mind it's him. Also, with each passing day, I feel more and more connected to him, and I feel my love for him growing.

I'm at a point  where all I do is daydream about him. I can't help to wonder what he will look like. If he will be blond with green eyes like his father, or if he'll have my big brown eyes. Either way, I'm sure he will be adorable. <3

At 20 weeks baby Liam is suppose to be the size of a banana, and weirdly enough, I was craving banana splits this week as well. :)

Maternity Fashion for Fall

So just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean you can't dress cute. In my opinion, it's actually fun to dress up and show off that baby bump. I always hear many women who've been pregnant say "Enjoy your baby belly, because you'll miss it!" My bump is starting to grow, and it's more noticeable every day, and I already love it, and can't wait for it to grow more!

So if you're pregnant, treat yourself to a shopping day, and here are some inspirations to help you! :)

Fall Fashion

I can't believe it's almost fall already. You know I'm excited for Fall when I start pinning a bunch of Fall trends on Pinterest. I can't wait for the cozy sweaters, and boots, and scarves!

Personally for me, my favorite Fall/Winter trend are scarves. They make any outfit look comfortable and cozy.

What's your favorite Fall/Winter trend??

Pregnancy Diary- It's a....

I went to my very first ultrasound and got to see baby for the first time on my 14th week. The ultrasound was basically just to check if everything was OK with the baby, and to get some measurements.

Since I found out about the pregnancy, I've been watching A LOT of YouTube videos, all with baby topic. I told my husband there could be a slight chance that we could see the sex of the baby at 14 weeks, because some of the videos I watched, the girls were able to find out early on as well.

When we got to the clinic, my husband sat in the corner, and I layed there while the doctor checked the baby. It was so cute to actually see the little human that's been living inside of me, and it was so weird how I would see it move, but didn't feel anything, because at 14 weeks, for me, it was too early to feel movement. I then asked the Doc. if she was able to see the gender, and she said "Ohhh yeah!" I think we all saw it right away...

I had a really strong feeling it was a boy too. We left the clinic so happy, and we went straight to Party City to buy some "It's a Boy" balloons to announce it to our families.

Now it's time to start shopping for some baby clothes!! :D

There is a bump picture of baby Liam ____ (we haven't decided on a middle name yet) at 15 weeks! :)

Pregnancy Diary- First Trimester

Yeah, I'm pregnant!!

Being that I'm already on my second trimester, for this post I'll just write an overview of how my entire first trimester was.

I found out I was pregnant pretty early on. I've always had regular periods, never missed any, and I have always kept track of them on my period app. ;)

I tested with a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant at 2 months, though I already had a really strong feeling I was before that. Like I mentioned, I'm never late on my periods, and I never ever miss them, so when I was ONE day late, i bought a test, and got a positive result. The feeling of seeing those two little lines (positive) on a stick that you peed on is out of this world. I've always seen on movies, or herd through stories of how women found out they were pregnant and what they felt, For me it was the craziest feeling in the world. Deep down I knew that I was, but when I looked at the test, my whole life flashed before my eyes (LOL) and I couldn't help but think: "There is a baby inside of me!!!" I didn't know if I wanted to cry of happiness and nervousness, or faint. I told my husband as soon as I came out of the bathroom, and he too was very happy and overwhelmed.

Weeks 5-9 were pretty bad. I was nauseous, but not to the point of throwing up thank God! I had no appetite, and everything I ate left a weird taste in my mouth. I was always very tired, and never felt like doing anything. All i wanted to do was lay in bed. Going to work, or school was a HUGE chore, and i just wanted to quit everything, school and work haha. I didn't feel like cleaning the house, I didn't want to study, I didn't even want to put makeup on!  It was the worst.

The closer it got for the first trimester to finish, the better I would feel.

Weeks 10-13 were a lot better. I slowly started to get some appetite, though certain things I ate still left my mouth with a weird taste. And I finally started to look happier and back to my normal self again. From time to time, I'd get a sharp pain on my lower back, but nothing too bad, and it wouldn't last long.

The biggest change in my body on the first trimester was how big my boobs grew! I literally only have 2 or 3 bras that fit me at the moment.

On my next post I'll talk about how my second trimester is going, and the gender!! :D

Thanks for reading! <3
